Japan has preserved its craftsmanship culture even throughout its accelerated industrialization in the late 19th and 20th centuries. This has a considerable impact on its corporate culture. In this interview, swordsmith Pierre Nadeau shares his observations on how learning and knowledge transfer works in Japanese culture, and how it can be observed throughout the country, starting with his own experience as a traditional blacksmith apprentice to modern corporate environments.
